Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 12, 2026
These terms set out the framework for using niveareid.com and engaging Nivea Reid for personalised mentoring. Nivea operates online from the United Kingdom. Contact info@niveareid.com with questions. Information handling is explained in the Privacy Policy.
Website use and the service
Please use the website lawfully and respectfully, without interfering with its security or misuse of another person’s information. Website materials provide general information about a private, personalised mentoring relationship. The service supports reflection, perspective and considered decisions; it does not guarantee a particular personal or professional outcome.
Confirming an engagement
Submitting an enquiry does not create a client relationship, a booking or a payment obligation. An engagement begins only when the relevant service and terms are expressly confirmed in writing or through an accepted booking process. Payment alone does not confirm an engagement unless the stated booking process expressly provides for that result.
The website currently uses a private enquiry process rather than online checkout. If booking and payment are introduced, the service information, price, cancellation information and applicable terms must be presented before you commit. Packages and longer private engagements may be governed by a separate written Client Agreement identifying the agreed scope, duration, fees, sessions and communication arrangements. Specific agreed terms apply to that engagement, subject always to your statutory rights.
Fees and payment
The fee, any taxes, payment schedule, service details and relevant cancellation arrangements will be communicated before confirmation. Payment is currently arranged by invoice. No price is implied by making an enquiry. Additional services or charges require agreement.
Reserved appointments
Confirmed appointment time is reserved for you. Please give at least 48 hours’ notice by email if you need to cancel or reschedule an individual appointment. Timely rescheduling is subject to availability. Any applicable package arrangements will be explained in its Client Agreement.
If less notice is given, or an appointment is missed, a charge may apply only where the basis was disclosed and agreed before booking, is lawful and proportionate, and reflects the reasonable net loss caused by the cancellation. Savings and any replacement booking must be taken into account. There is no automatic forfeiture of the entire payment. Genuine exceptional circumstances will be considered reasonably.
A late arrival does not normally extend an appointment beyond its scheduled end. If Nivea must cancel, you will be offered a reasonable alternative or a refund for the affected service that has not been provided. None of these appointment arrangements restricts a statutory cancellation right.
Consumer cancellation rights
Where the UK distance-contract rules apply, a consumer normally has 14 days from the day after a service contract is made to cancel without giving a reason. To exercise that right, email info@niveareid.com with a clear statement identifying the engagement you wish to cancel. You may use the statutory model cancellation form, but do not have to. The required cancellation information and form must be supplied with the contract confirmation where applicable.
If you want a service to begin during that period, an express request must be obtained before it starts. If you then cancel after part of the service has been provided, payment may be due only for the proportion supplied, where the required information and request were properly obtained. The cancellation right is lost following full performance only where the service began on your express request and you acknowledged in advance that the right would be lost once it was fully performed. A request to start early is not an automatic waiver on booking.
Any statutory refund will be made within the required period, normally within 14 days of notice of cancellation, using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed without charge. The 48-hour appointment policy does not override these rights. Other mandatory consumer protections remain available.
Discretion, communication and boundaries
Conversations are treated with discretion. Confidentiality is subject to disclosures required by law and disclosures reasonably necessary to protect a person from serious harm or to establish, exercise or defend legal rights. Where appropriate and lawful, the circumstances will be discussed with you. The Privacy Policy explains the handling of records and service-provider access.
Communication between appointments is included only where agreed. Its scope, channels and reasonable response expectations will be settled separately; an engagement does not provide continuous or 24-hour availability.
Nivea may end an engagement for abusive, threatening, discriminatory, harassing or otherwise seriously inappropriate behaviour. Immediate termination may be appropriate where safety requires it; otherwise reasonable notice will be given. Any refund or charge for unprovided services must remain fair, proportionate and consistent with statutory rights and the agreed engagement terms.
Materials and external websites
Original text, branding, design and resources belong to Nivea Reid or the relevant rights holder. You may view website materials and use resources supplied to you for their agreed personal purpose. Redistribution or commercial reuse requires permission, except as permitted by law.
External links are provided for convenience. Third-party websites and their content, services and privacy arrangements are outside Nivea’s control.
Responsibility and statutory rights
Services will be provided with reasonable care and skill. You remain responsible for your own choices and decisions, but this does not exclude responsibility for a failure to provide the agreed service. Responsibility for loss is assessed under applicable law, including whether loss was reasonably foreseeable. No arbitrary financial liability cap is imposed by these website terms.
Nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded. Nothing removes your statutory consumer rights, including applicable remedies for services not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
Applicable law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory protections available to you under applicable law. This does not prevent a consumer from bringing proceedings in the courts available to them by law, including in their UK home nation where applicable.
Updated website terms apply prospectively. Posting a new version does not retrospectively change an existing engagement or remove accrued rights. Any change to an agreed engagement must follow its agreed terms and applicable law. For a concern about the website or a service, contact info@niveareid.com so it can be considered.
